Setting up the Seagate FreeAgent is drop dead easy (certainly easier than dealing with data recovery) just connect power and plug in the USB cable and you’re away. While the Seagate Desktop external HDD is suitable for use with a Mac, it is formatted NTFS and you will have to reformat it for Mac using Mac OS X’s Disk Utility before use.
