As well as functioning as an external hard drive (HDD), the Maxtor OneTouch 4 can also act as a networked media center as a backup for all digital media files from a home network. Maxtor provide two levels of security to protect from unauthorized access; Maxtor DrivePass and encryption.

Backup of your files can be as easy as pushing a button on the Maxtor OneTouch 4. Alternatively, the backup software can be configured to provide a regular schedule of automated backups.

The Maxtor OneTouch 4 has a USB 2.0 interface and is Plug and Play for instant use once connected to your PC.
